As long as you have no medical concerns for which you have been asked to avoid warm baths, feel free to use Himalayan bath salt to either hot or warm water. Ensure that you are comfortable with the water temperature as you will be soaking for a while without much change in the water temperature.
Add the correct amount of salt to your bath water to ensure you get the best results from your Himalayan salt bath.
Set a minimum of 15 minutes aside to soak among the mineral rich water. Get out of the tub slowly. You may be so relaxed after purging toxins so fast that you may feel light headed or unsteady if you try to get out of the tub too fast.
Make a point not to use oils, lotions or soaps during and after your bath. It is not necessary to rinse the salty water off. Simply pat your body off and head for sleep. Due to the superlative effects Himalayan salts have on stress relief, you will want to fall asleep after a decadent soak in a pink salt tub. If you absolutely have to moisturize after the bath, consider using a natural oil such as olive, grapeseed, sweet almond or coconut oil.
